Episode 15: Interview with Sara Jensen, Co-Founder & Co-CEO of Hugh & Grace

Sara Jensen is Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Hugh & Grace, a better-than-clean skincare brand. Inspired and driven by what she learned during her 14-year struggle to have a family, she and her husband set out to rethink the self-care industry. The husband-and-wife duo identified a gap in the market for self-care products that address hormone safety, as most personal care products — including clean, non-toxic products — contain harmful chemicals that can impact our hormones and our health. Sara and her husband were amazed when two of their family members volunteered to be their surrogates, and the couple founded Hugh & Grace to create high-performing, hormone-safe products for the whole family.

Prior to founding Hugh & Grace, Sara earned her MBA from USC Marshall and spent the previous six years working at USC Marshall in development on the major gifts team. She is also responsible for spearheading the maternity leave policy change at USC, the largest private employer in LA, to include adoptions and surrogacy. She is the proud mother to Hugh, 4, and Grace, 2.

“Helping reduce chemical exposure with hormone-safe, high performing products.” - Ben & Sara Jensen

“During our 14 year struggle with unexplained infertility, we learned that products we use daily (including clean, non-toxic products) contain toxic chemicals that can impact our hormones and our health. Motivated by what we learned, we partnered with experts and created high-performing, natural products that help detox, repair and protect the body. We have a community of Advocates to help share a message of hope that small changes can make a meaningful impact.” - Ben & Sara Jensen

"The night serum feels so luxurious on your skin and is completely clean. I love that my skin feels refreshed in the morning after using this night serum."

- Rachel Zoe
